Contemporary jewellery is a fantastic world to be working in. If you’ve ever spent time on a contemporary design blog, like Design Milk or Design Break, you’ll know that contemporary design can be anywhere between outrageously unwearable to amazingly crafted. I particularly enjoy seeing the way that designers push the limits of materials- or, more accurately, push the way that the audience perceives materials.

One thing I love about men’s fashion is the icon of the dapper gentleman. I love that men are wearing dinner jackets and slim, fashion suits. I love pocket squares that are made from antique patterned scarves, and screen printed silk ties, lapel flowers, and fine leather shoes. I love that men can be seen to care about their appearance without it encroaching on their perceived masculinity- looking good leads to confidence, which leads to success.
